Whew, made it ! I started my drive out of Brooklyn,
at 120 Willow in Brooklyn. John and Nat.
crossing the Whitestone bridge.
heading up to Milford, CT for a charge.
Old style Superchargers without the red Tesla signs…
John was in the car with me for that leg, then he joined Victoria and Abby to drive up to Providence for a tour of Brown.
Another white Tesla on the road..
My next stop was East Greenwich, which is just south of Providence.
I pulled into the Superchargers to find a red Signature model S with the stock symbol as a license plate. The guy there said his wife bought stock at $20 and that paid for the car. It was a beauty ! He was headed south fora Wedding (It’s the season), and I was charging for my last leg to Maine. With 267 rated miles in the car I headed to Biddeford Pool. After a little traffic on I-95 I finally reached all of the signs welcoming me to Maine. The way life should be… I pulled into Biddeford Pool, crossed the new bridge
the final stretch…
and after 3,424 miles I had arrived.
Almost 1,000 extra miles to use all superchargers, but I’m here with the car. A very different drive than last year.. No characters in KOA campgrounds.
Who decides where they put these Superchargers ?? certainly not anyone driving across the country..
